Frost heaving prevention measures for soft-structure slope protection work using non-frost heaving soil Terracel is a slope protection method in cold regions that involves installing a deformation-adjustable framework (Terracel) made of high-density polyethylene resin on the slope and filling the framework with non-frost heaving soil (volcanic ash, crushed stone, etc.) to prevent the deterioration of the functionality of the slope caused by frost heaving and repeated thawing and settlement in cold regions.

Terracel is a flexible framework that can follow deformations and movements of the slope caused by frost heave, and the functionality of the framework is maintained for a long time.
