Frost heaving prevention measures for soft-structure slope protection work using non-frost heaving soil Terracel is a slope protection method in cold regions that involves installing a deformation-adjustable framework (Terracel) made of high-density polyethylene resin on the slope and filling the framework with non-frost heaving soil (volcanic ash, crushed stone, etc.) to prevent the deterioration of the functionality of the slope caused by frost heaving and repeated thawing and settlement in cold regions.
